Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Coordinate production orders from PO to final shipment and track milestones.

• Maintain/update production schedules, WIP reports, and order details.
• Communicate daily with international factories and vendors on status and lead times.
• Coordinate samples and approvals, following up on submissions and revisions.
• Track testing, packaging, labeling, and customer specs throughout production.
• Monitor timelines, flag delays, and resolve issues before they affect delivery.
• Follow up with factories and teams to ensure outstanding items are completed.
• Troubleshoot production issues with factories and cross-functional teams.
• Partner with Design, Product Development, Sourcing, Logistics, and Sales.
• Maintain production records, documentation, and reporting.
• Balance shifting priorities and meet critical deadlines.

About the Role

As a Production Coordinator, you will play a hands‑on role in managing the production process from purchase order through final shipment, working closely with international factories and internal teams to keep orders moving and deliveries on track.

What You’ll Do

• Coordinate production orders from purchase order through final shipment, actively tracking key milestones, approvals, and delivery dates.
• Manage multiple orders and programs simultaneously in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
• Maintain and continuously update production schedules, WIP reports, order details, approvals, and status reports.
• Communicate daily with international factories and vendors regarding production status, samples, approvals, lead times, quality concerns, and delivery requirements.
• Coordinate PP, TOP, and other production samples, following up closely on submissions, comments, revisions, and approvals.
• Track product testing, quality requirements, packaging, labeling, and customer specifications throughout the production cycle.
• Monitor production and shipment timelines closely, proactively flagging delays, missing approvals, quality concerns, and potential delivery issues before they impact the customer.
• Follow up consistently with factories and internal teams to ensure outstanding items are completed and orders continue moving forward.
• Troubleshoot day-to-day production issues and work quickly with factories and cross-functional teams to identify solutions.
• Partner closely with Design, Product Development, Sourcing, Logistics, and Sales throughout the production cycle.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date production records, documentation, and reporting.
• Balance shifting priorities and urgent requests while maintaining accuracy and meeting critical deadlines.

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years of experience in Production, Sourcing, Product Development, Supply Chain, or a related function within home décor, home textiles, fashion, consumer products, or a similar industry.
• Understanding of the production lifecycle, including purchase orders, samples, approvals, and production timelines.
• Experience working directly with international factories, vendors, or suppliers strongly preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple orders and deadlines.
• Proactive problem-solving and strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience working with production tracking reports or systems.
• Familiarity with product testing, quality assurance, and compliance is a plus.
