Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of apparel production calendars, purchase order management, and import logistics.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook

Responsibilities

  • Liaise daily on production follow-up with overseas offices and vendors
  • Maintain seasonal production calendar to meet deadlines
  • Coordinate inbound shipments from overseas factories for timely delivery
  • Monitor production and shipping schedules and flag delays
  • Collaborate with Global Sourcing VP to manage extension requests and timelines
  • Coordinate shortage and overage shipments to meet PO requirements
  • Prepare and review import documents (invoices, packing lists, bills of lading)
  • Maintain shipment tracking, logistics reports, and delivery records
  • Work with cross-functional teams to support launches and deliveries
  • Ensure compliance with import regulations and company policies

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Production & Logistics Coordinator to join our growing team. This role is responsible for daily production follow-up and movement of finished goods from overseas factories, managing import logistics, supporting vendor communication, and ensuring products are delivered on schedule. The ideal candidate has experience in apparel production and logistics, strong organizational skills, and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a key liaison for day-to-day production follow-up and work effectively with cross-functional partners at overseas offices and vendors
  • Maintain seasonal production calendar to ensure deadlines are met
  • Coordinate inbound shipments from overseas factories to ensure timely delivery of finished goods.
  • Monitor production and shipping schedules, providing regular updates and proactively identifying potential delays.
  • Partner with the Vice President of Global Sourcing to manage extension requests and communicate revised delivery timelines with vendors and internal teams.
  • Coordinate shortage and overage shipments to ensure purchase order requirements and customer commitments are met.
  • Prepare, review, and maintain import documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and other required shipping documents.
  • Maintain accurate shipment tracking, logistics reports, and delivery records.
  • Collaborate with Global Sourcing, Production, Planning, Sales, Customer Service, and Distribution teams to support timely product launches and customer deliveries.
  • Communicate with vendors regarding production status, shipment readiness, and required documentation.
  • Identify and resolve shipping discrepancies, documentation issues, and delivery challenges while minimizing business impact.
  • Ensure compliance with import regulations, customer routing requirements, and company policies.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
