Production Coordinator:

About Us: Danessa Myricks Beaut y is a vibrant beauty brand dedicated to innovation, creativity, and delivering high-quality content that resonates with our audience. We’re looking for a detail-oriented and organized professional to support our Creative Team in producing incredible shoots, stunning visuals and ensuring seamless operations in our studio environment.

Role Summary: We are seeking an organized and proactive Production Coordinator to assist in all aspects of shoot production and studio management. In this role, reports directly to the Creative Director and works cross functionally with marketing. You’ll play a key part in coordinating model casting, managing shoot logistics (including catering and budgeting), and post-production tasks such as invoicing. You’ll also take ownership of maintaining a pristine studio environment, organizing makeup kits and ensuring every shoot runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the production team with pre-shoot, on-set, and post-shoot logistics.
• Assist in casting models, including coordinating schedules and contracts.
• Manage catering arrangements to ensure the crew and talent are well cared for during shoots.
• Oversee studio organization, ensuring the space is clean, well-stocked, and production-ready at all times.
• Clean, organize and maintain creative makeup kits, styling elements and wardrobe items.
• Coordinate set-up and tear-down for shoots, managing equipment, props, and supplies.
• Act as the point of contact for talent, crew, and vendors during shoots.
• Track and manage shoot budgets, ensuring all expenses are logged and aligned with projections.
• Assist with tracking and processing invoices, receipts, and budgets related to production.
• Maintain inventory of studio and production equipment, ensuring all tools are in working condition.
• Research and source props, supplies, and other materials as needed for shoots. • Ensure compliance with safety guidelines during all productions.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in production coordination or a related field, preferably within the beauty, fashion, or creative industries.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with an eye for detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with talent, crew, and vendors.
• Familiarity with studio equipment and production workflows.
• Ability to problem-solve under pressure and adapt to last-minute changes.
• Proficiency in software tools like Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or project management tools (e.g., Asana).
• Strong budgeting and expense tracking skills.
• Passion for beauty, creativity, and storytelling.
• Physical ability to assist with set-up and movement of production equipment.
