Job summary

Colgate-Palmolive Hodges, SC is seeking an Operations Technician I to own the operation, preventive maintenance, sanitation, and changeover of production equipment, ensuring safe and efficient, high-quality output.

You will drive continuous improvement by collaborating with cross-functional teams and act as a technical floor leader where your problem-solving matters in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient with computers, software, and data processing.
• Able to lift 50 pounds and maneuver ladders/facilities.
• Willingness to work any shift, weekends and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and changeover automated equipment.
• Perform minor maintenance and collaborate with maintenance personnel.
• Ensure compliance with safety, GMPs, quality standards, and cleaning guidelines.
• Record production information in SAP and other systems; support daily reporting.
• Assist with material transfers, quality tests, and inbound/outbound material tracking.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and Kaizen activities.
