Job summary

Colgate-Palmolive in Hodges, South Carolina is seeking an Operations Technician I to ensure safe, efficient operation of production equipment, including automation, sanitation, and changeovers.

You will monitor SAP-based materials, perform quality tests, and support continuous improvement with cross-functional teams on the shop floor.

This role requires a high school diploma, 1 year manufacturing experience, and the ability to lift 50 pounds, with shift flexibility and overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work any shift, weekends and mandatory overtime as needed.
• Proficient with computers, software, and data processing.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds; climb stairs and ladders.

Responsibilities

• Understand and be accountable for full compliance with safety and EHS requirements.
• Operate, monitor, and perform changeovers of automated equipment.
• Troubleshoot and perform minor maintenance on production equipment.
• Record production and quality data in SAP/Wonderware/OPERA.
• Perform quality inspections and sampling for SPC activities.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and Kaizen events.
