Job summary

Spring Valley in Jackson, WI is seeking Production Associates for 1st shift to support fertilizer and ice melter production lines. You will stack 50 lb bags, operate equipment, and keep accurate records while following safety procedures.

We offer cross training, performance bonuses, holidays and PTO, health/dental/vision coverage after 30 days, and a 401(k) with company match. A reliable routine and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Safety first mindset and adherence to safety programs.
• Excellent attendance and reliability for payroll and shifts.
• Strong communication and organizational skills in a fast pace.
• Experience operating a forklift, stacking pallets 2-3 high is a plus.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work on 1st shift (6:00am-2:30pm).

Responsibilities

• Stacking 50lb bags on pallets and wrapping for shipping.
• Mixing/blending material for fertilizer and ice melter.
• Running and monitoring machines for safety and efficiency.
• Operating a forklift to move pallets between buildings.
• Operating a front end loader to transport bulk materials.
• General cleanup of work areas.
• Miscellaneous projects as needed (inventory, grounds keeping, etc).

From our 8 blending locations and multiple shipping locations, we serve a wide variety of customer markets including distributors, co‑ops, and retailers throughout the United States and internationally. Our Jackson WI plant is eagerly seeking Production Associates to join our team!

Responsibilities

• Stacking 50lb bags on pallets & wrapping pallets for shipping
• Mixing/blending material for fertilizer and ice melter
• Running and monitoring machines to ensure safety and efficiency
• Operating a forklift to move pallets between buildings.
• Operating a front end loader to transport bulk materials
• General cleanup of work areas
• Miscellaneous projects as needed (inventory, grounds keeping, etc)

Pay & Perks

• $20.00-$25.00+ per hour starting pay based on experience.
• We offer cross training opportunities in other areas of production.

• Ability to work 1st Shift (6:00am-2:30pm Monday-Friday)
• Willingness to support continuous improvement initiatives
• The ability to keep accurate records and follow procedures
• Pass a post-offer drug screen
• Reliable transportation to get to and from work
• Ability to lift 50 lbs comfortably
