Job summary

Spring Valley in Jackson, WI is seeking Production Associates experienced in blending and batch mixer operation to join our team at the Jackson plant. You will mix and blend materials, load pallets, monitor machines, and ensure safe, efficient production.

The role offers starting pay of $20+ per hour based on experience, with cross-training opportunities, team production bonuses, holidays and PTO, health/dental/vision insurance after 30 days, HSA contributions, disability and life insurance,

Qualifications

• Safety-focused and able to follow established safety programs.
• Excellent attendance and reliability essential for production schedules.
• Strong communication and organization in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with forklift operation and stacking pallets 2–3 high is a plus.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Willingness to work 1st shift (6:00am-2:30pm, Mon-Fri).
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and keep accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Mixing/blending material for fertilizer and ice melter.
• Stacking 50lb bags on pallets and wrapping pallets for shipping.
• Run and monitor machines to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Operate a forklift to move pallets between buildings.
• Operate a front end loader to transport bulk materials.
• General cleanup of work areas and related duties.

Spring Valley began on a small family farm in Jackson, WI in 1961 and has grown into a leading manufacturer of fertilizers and ice melter products. From our 8 blending locations and multiple shipping locations, we serve a wide variety of customer markets including distributors, co-ops, and retailers throughout the United States and internationally. Our company continues to grow and expand, which presents many new opportunities. Our Jackson WI plant is eagerly seeking Production Associates, experienced in Blending / Batch Mixer Machine Operation to join our team!

Responsibilities include:

• Mixing/blending material for fertilizer and ice melter
• Stacking 50lb bags on pallets & wrapping pallets for shipping
• Running and monitoring machines to ensure safety and efficiency
• Operating a forklift to move pallets between buildings.
• Operating a front end loader to transport bulk materials
• General cleanup of work areas
• Miscellaneous projects as needed (inventory, grounds keeping, etc)

Pay & Perks:

• $20.00+ per hour starting pay based on experience.

• Reliable transportation to get to and from work
