Job summary

Spring Valley in Jackson, WI is seeking Production Associates experienced in blending and batch mixer operation for our fertilizer and ice melter line. The role supports safe, efficient production on the 1st shift (6:00am-2:30pm, Monday-Friday) with pallets handling and material movement across facilities.

Ideal candidates demonstrate strong attendance, clear communication, and ability to follow instructions while maintaining records.

Qualifications

• Safety programs must be followed with priority.
• Excellent attendance is essential for uptime.
• Strong written and verbal communication in a fast-paced setting.
• Experience operating a forklift; stacking pallets is a plus.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and keep records.

Responsibilities

• Mixing/blending material for fertilizer and ice melter
• Stacking 50lb bags on pallets & wrapping pallets for shipping
• Running and monitoring machines to ensure safety and efficiency
• Operating a forklift to move pallets between buildings
• Operating a front end loader to transport bulk materials
• General cleanup of work areas
• Miscellaneous projects as needed (inventory, grounds keeping, etc)

Responsibilities Include

• Mixing/blending material for fertilizer and ice melter
• Stacking 50lb bags on pallets & wrapping pallets for shipping
• Running and monitoring machines to ensure safety and efficiency
• Operating a forklift to move pallets between buildings.
• Operating a front end loader to transport bulk materials
• General cleanup of work areas
• Miscellaneous projects as needed (inventory, grounds keeping, etc)

Pay & Perks

• $20.00+ per hour starting pay based on experience.

Requirements

Successful team members will have:

• Previous experience and comfortability in forklift operation, including stacking pallets 2-3 high is a plus!
• Ability to follow written & verbal instructions
• Ability to work 1st shift (6:00am-2:30pm Monday-Friday
• Willingness to support continuous improvement initiatives
• The ability to keep accurate records and follow procedures
• Pass a post-offer drug screen
• Reliable transportation to get to and from work
• Ability to lift 50 lbs comfortably
