Job summary

Spring Valley, located in Jackson, WI, is seeking a Production Associate experienced with front end loader/compact wheel loader operations. The role focuses on transporting bulk materials, stacking 50-lb bags, and blending materials for fertilizer and ice melter.

You will run and monitor production equipment, operate a forklift, and keep work areas clean. Strong safety records and dependable attendance are essential for success.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate a front end loader/wheel loader to transport bulk materials.
• Stack 50 lb bags on pallets and wrap pallets for shipping.
• Mix/blend materials for fertilizer and ice melter.
• Run and monitor machines to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Operate a forklift to move pallets between buildings.
• General clean-up and participation in various projects as needed (inventory, grounds keeping).

From our 8 blending locations and multiple shipping locations, we serve a wide variety of customer markets including distributors, co-ops, and retailers throughout the United States and internationally. Spring Valley became a part of the Interoceanic (IOC) family of companies in 2022. Our company continues to grow and expand, which presents many new opportunities. Our Jackson WI plant is eagerly seeking Production Associates, experienced in Front End Loader / Compact Wheel Loader / Heavy Equipment Operation to join our team!

Responsibilities include:

• Operating a front end / wheel loader to transport bulk materials
• Stacking 50lb bags on pallets & wrapping pallets for shipping
• Mixing/blending material for fertilizer and ice melter
• Running and monitoring machines to ensure safety and efficiency
• Operating a forklift to move pallets between buildings.
• General cleanup of work areas
• Miscellaneous projects as needed (inventory, grounds keeping, etc)

Pay & Perks:

• $20.00-$25.00+ per hour starting pay based on experience.
• Additional $1.00 per hour shift premium for working 2nd shift.

Requirements

• Previous experience and comfortability in forklift operation, including stacking pallets 2-3 high is a plus!
• Ability to follow written & verbal instructions

• The ability to keep accurate records and follow procedures
• Pass a post-offer drug screen
• Reliable transportation to get to and from work
