Job summary

Spring Valley, a Jackson, WI based manufacturer of fertilizers and ice melter products, is seeking Production Associates with blending/batch mixer experience. The role supports safety, efficiency, and accurate packaging in a fast-paced plant environment.

You will operate forklifts, assist with palletizing and loading, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives while adhering to established safety programs. Competitive pay and benefits apply after onboarding.

Qualifications

• Adhere to safety programs and procedures.

• Experience and comfort operating a forklift, stacking pallets 2–3 high is a plus.
• Able to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Capable of working 2nd shift (2:15pm–12:45am, Mon–Thu).
• Reliable transportation and ability to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Mixing/blending material for fertilizer and ice melter.
• Stacking 50lb bags on pallets and wrapping pallets for shipping.
• Run and monitor machines to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Operate a forklift to move pallets between buildings.
• Operate a front end loader to transport bulk materials.
• General cleanup of work areas.
• Assist with miscellaneous projects (inventory, grounds keeping).

From our 8 blending locations and multiple shipping locations, we serve a wide variety of customer markets including distributors, co‑ops, and retailers throughout the United States and internationally. Spring Valley became a part of the Interoceanic (IOC) family of companies in 2022. Our company continues to grow and expand, which presents many new opportunities. Our Jackson WI plant is eagerly seeking Production Associates, experienced in Blending / Batch Mixer Machine Operation to join our team!

Responsibilities

• Mixing/blending material for fertilizer and ice melter
• Stacking 50lb bags on pallets & wrapping pallets for shipping
• Running and monitoring machines to ensure safety and efficiency
• Operating a forklift to move pallets between buildings
• Operating a front end loader to transport bulk materials
• General cleanup of work areas
• Miscellaneous projects as needed (inventory, grounds keeping, etc)

Pay & Perks

• $20.00-$25.00+ per hour starting pay based on experience
• Additional $1.00 per hour shift premium for working 2nd shift

• The ability to keep accurate records and follow procedures
• Pass a post-offer drug screen
• Reliable transportation to get to and from work
