Job summary

Spring Valley is seeking Production Associates for our Hatfield, MA plant. You will stack, blend, and monitor production lines, operating a forklift and front end loader as needed. The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include pallet stacking, material blending, and machine operation with opportunities for cross training and bonuses. This position requires the ability to lift 50 lbs and work 6:00am–2:30pm, Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

• Safety-first mindset and reliable attendance.
• Excellent communication and organization in a fast-paced production environment.
• Experience with forklift operation is a plus, including stacking pallets 2-3 high.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work 1st shift (6:00am-2:30pm).

Responsibilities

• Stack 50 lb bags on pallets and wrap pallets for shipping.
• Mix and blend material for fertilizer and ice melter.
• Run and monitor machines for safety and efficiency.
• Operate a forklift to move pallets between buildings.
• Operate a front end loader to transport bulk materials.
• General cleanup of work areas and assist with projects as needed (inventory, grounds keeping).

Spring Valley began on a small family farm in Jackson, WI in 1961 and has grown into a leading manufacturer of fertilizers and ice melter products. From our 8 blending locations and multiple shipping locations, we serve a wide variety of customer markets including distributors, co-ops, and retailers throughout the United States and internationally. Our Hatfield, MA plant is eagerly seeking Production Associates to join our team!

Responsibilities Include

• Stacking 50lb bags on pallets & wrapping pallets for shipping
• Mixing/blending material for fertilizer and ice melter
• Running and monitoring machines to ensure safety and efficiency
• Operating a forklift to move pallets between buildings.
• Operating a front end loader to transport bulk materials
• General cleanup of work areas
• Miscellaneous projects as needed (inventory, grounds keeping, etc)

Pay & Perks

• $18.00-$20.00+ per hour starting pay based on experience.

• The ability to keep accurate records and follow procedures
