You will work with production planning, coordinate workflow with warehouse and purchasing teams, keep areas clean, follow SOPs, and contribute to lean manufacturing and continuous improvement. Shifts include 5:00 AM–1:00 PM and 1:30 PM–10:00 PM.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Production/Assembler Technician for a full-time contract opportunity in Fremont, CA. This role is ideal for a hands‑on manufacturing professional with experience in assembly, production, packing, shipping preparation, and inventory support within a high‑volume manufacturing environment.

The Production/Assembler Technician will join a structured, team-oriented workplace with supportive leadership, clear expectations, and a strong focus on safety, quality, productivity, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities

• Assemble products according to certified assembly procedures, customer specifications, work instructions, and quality standards.
• Pack, prepare, label, and support shipment of completed assemblies while maintaining order accuracy.
• Support production planning activities, including preparing job instruction packets and coordinating workflow needs.
• Partner with warehouse, purchasing, and production teams to help meet daily deadlines and production targets.
• Maintain inventory accuracy, follow standard operating procedures, and comply with all safety and manufacturing guidelines.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and aligned with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices.

Compensation and Benefits

• Pay Rate: $25.00 to $27.50 per hour.
• Employment Type: Full-time, contract/temporary.
• Location: Fremont, CA 94538.
• Schedule: 1st shift, 5:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
• Schedule: 2nd shift, 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Assemble products and components according to documented work instructions and quality requirements.
• Support packing, labeling, shipment preparation, and production workflow needs.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and assist with materials coordination in a manufacturing environment.
• Follow safety procedures, standard operating procedures, and clean work area expectations.
• 1 to 2 years of experience in assembly, production, manufacturing, warehouse operations, or a related hands‑on role.
• Experience working in a high‑volume production environment.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions, assembly procedures, production documents, and quality standards.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to complete repetitive tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Mechanically inclined with good hand‑eye coordination and comfort using basic production tools or equipment.
• Dependable, safety‑focused, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude in a fast‑paced manufacturing setting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in automotive, electric vehicle, electronics, semiconductor, or advanced manufacturing environments.
• Prior experience supporting packing, shipping preparation, inventory control, or production planning activities.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing, 5S, continuous improvement, or structured production systems.
• Experience working with cross‑functional teams such as warehouse, purchasing, quality, and production.
