Job summary

Slalom is seeking an AI Engineer to design, build, evaluate, and deploy production-grade AI systems for clients. You will contribute to solution architecture, own workstreams, write production-quality code, and communicate progress and value to stakeholders.

You will work hands-on with major hyperscalers such as AWS, Azure, or GCP and data platforms like Databricks or Snowflake, delivering practical AI solutions in collaboration with Responsible AI specialists.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience designing and building data, AI, software, or machine learning solutions in real-world business environments.
• Hands-on experience building production-quality software using Python and modern software engineering practices.
• Experience with statistical and data mining software packages in Python and ML algorithms and their practical applications.

Responsibilities

• Design and build AI-enabled applications and systems, including LLM-powered applications and data pipelines.
• Work with cloud services and data platforms to deliver reliable, secure AI solutions.
• Own implementation workstreams from design through delivery, including backlog refinement, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
• Collaborate with clients to translate inputs into deployable AI solutions.
