Job summary

Slalom is seeking an AI Engineer to design, build, evaluate, and deploy production-grade AI systems for enterprise clients. You will contribute to solution architecture, own workstreams, write production-quality code, and communicate decisions and progress to stakeholders.

You will work hands-on with major hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and data platforms (Databricks, Snowflake) while collaborating with Responsible AI specialists to ensure safe, scalable AI delivery.

Qualifications

• 3+ years designing and building data, AI, software, or ML solutions in real-world environments.
• Hands-on Python and modern software engineering practices.
• Experience with cloud AI platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP) and data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design and build AI-enabled applications and systems, including LLM-powered apps and API integrations.
• Deliver production-grade AI solutions with scalable data pipelines and cloud services.
• Own implementation workstreams from design to delivery, including testing and client handoff.
• Collaborate with clients to translate business inputs into deployable AI solutions.
• Mentor peers on AI engineering practices and production delivery patterns.
