Job summary

Slalom’s AI Systems & Platforms team builds production-grade AI systems for enterprise clients. You will design and deploy AI-enabled applications, contribute to architecture, and own end-to-end delivery from design to client handoff.

The role requires hands-on Python development, experience with major cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and data platforms like Databricks or Snowflake, plus collaboration with Responsible AI specialists.

Qualifications

• 3+ years designing building data/AI/software solutions in real-world environments.
• Hands-on production software in Python and modern engineering practices.
• Experience delivering AI/ML solutions beyond notebooks, incl. deployment and ops.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP and Databricks/Snowflake platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design and build AI-enabled applications and systems, incl. LLM apps and data pipelines.
• Contribute to solution architecture and own implementation workstreams.
• Develop production-grade code and communicate delivery progress and risks to stakeholders.
• Mentor peers and clients on AI engineering practices and tool use.
