Job summary

LangChain is seeking a Deployed Engineer who will build and operate production AI agents for customer teams. You’ll co-design architectures, run POCs, and guide evaluations to secure the technical win. You’ll also help deploy agent-based apps, advise on best practices, and share reusable patterns across customers.

You will work directly with customers, understand their constraints, and contribute to production-grade solutions, ensuring reliable operation and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in a relevant technical role (software engineering, customer engineering, or solutions engineering).
• Experience designing agent-based or LLM-powered applications beyond simple API calls with multi-step workflows.

Responsibilities

• Co-architect and co-build production AI agents with customer engineering teams.
• Own the technical win in pre-sales by designing POCs and answering deep technical questions.
• Help customers deploy and operate agent-based applications, including conversational and research agents and multi-step workflows.
• Advise customers post-sale on architecture and best practices.
• Run technical demos, trainings, and workshops for developers.
• Surface field feedback and contribute reusable patterns and code across customers.
• Occasionally contribute upstream code to improve customer outcomes.
