Job summary

LangChain is hiring a Deployed Engineer to build production AI agents alongside customer engineering teams. You will co-design architectures, implement multi-step workflows, and help customers deploy agent-based applications in production to solve real-world problems.

You will engage in pre-sales technical evaluations, deliver code, demos, and workshops, and advise on architecture and best practices. Expect travel to customer sites up to 40% and direct collaboration with customers throughout the

Qualifications

• 6+ years in a technical role (software engineering, solutions engineering, or equivalent).
• Strong Python and JavaScript skills with solid systems fundamentals.
• Experience designing agent-based or LLM-powered apps beyond simple API calls, with multi-step workflows.

Responsibilities

• Co-architect and co-build production AI agents with customer teams.
• Own the technical win in pre-sales by designing POCs and guiding evaluations.
• Help customers deploy and operate agent-based applications (conversational, research, multi-step workflows).
• Advise customers post-sale on architecture, best practices, and roadmap decisions.
• Run technical demos, trainings, and workshops for developer audiences.
• Surface field feedback and contribute reusable patterns and example code.
