Job summary

LangChain is seeking a Deployed Engineer to work on the hardest problems in applied AI—systems that real teams depend on in production. You will co-architect production AI agents with customer teams and own the technical win in pre-sales through thoughtful POCs and deep technical Q&A.

You will help clients deploy agent-based applications, advise on architecture post-sale, and run demos and developer trainings. This is a hands-on role in a fast-growing startup environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a relevant technical role (software engineering, customer engineering, solutions engineering).
• Strong Python, JavaScript and systems fundamentals.
• Experience designing agent-based or LLM-powered applications beyond simple API calls.

Responsibilities

• Co-architect and co-build production AI agents with customer engineering teams.
• Own the technical win in pre-sales by designing POCs and guiding evaluations.
• Help customers deploy and operate agent-based applications and call flows.
• Advise customers post-sale on architecture and roadmaps.
• Run technical demos, trainings and workshops for developers.
• Surface field feedback and create reusable patterns and code.
• Occasionally contribute upstream code to improve customer outcomes.
