Job summary

LangChain is seeking a Deployed Engineering Lead to own the technical win in complex, production-grade AI agent deployments. You will partner with account executives, scope evaluations, design POCs, and answer architecture questions in real-world deployments with customers.

You will collaborate with customer engineering teams to build and operationalize agents, run demos and workshops, and surface field feedback to product.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in technical roles such as solutions engineering or software engineering.
• Own the technical thread in a sales cycle from discovery to rollout.
• Explain technical tradeoffs clearly to developers and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven track record delivering production AI agents.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical win by scoping evaluations, running technical discovery, and designing POCs mapped to real use cases.
• Be the technical authority in architecture reviews, security and deployment questions.
• Co‑architect and co‑build production AI agents with customer teams from prototype to rollout.
• Help customers deploy and operate agent-based applications like conversational and research agents.
• Run demos, trainings, and workshops for developer audiences.
• Advise customers post-sale on architecture and roadmap decisions to identify expansion opportunities.
• Surface field feedback to product and build reusable POC assets and examples.
• Contribute upstream code when it meaningfully improves customer outcomes.
