Job summary

LangChain, Inc. is seeking a Deployed Engineer to work on production AI agents and systems that real teams rely on, collaborating with customer engineers across the full lifecycle.

You’ll co-design and co-build production agents, own the technical win in pre-sales with POCs, help deploy and operate agent-based applications, and run demos, trainings, and workshops for developers. Travel up to 40% may be required.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in a relevant technical role (software engineering, customer engineering, solutions engineering, or similar).
• Strong Python and JavaScript skills with solid systems fundamentals.
• Experience designing agent-based or LLM-powered applications with multi-step workflows.
• Comfortable working directly with customers during POCs and evaluations.
• Ability to explain technical tradeoffs clearly and build trust with developers.
• Bias toward action and responsibility for outcomes in production environments.

Responsibilities

• Co-architect and co-build production AI agents with customer teams.
• Own the technical win in pre-sales by designing POCs and answering deep questions.
• Help customers deploy and operate agent-based applications and workflows.
• Advise customers post-sale on architecture and best practices.
• Run technical demos, trainings, and developer-focused workshops.
• Surface field feedback and contribute reusable patterns and code.
