Job summary

RTX is seeking a Production Test Engineer for our Tucson, AZ site. This onsite role supports test processes across product life cycle, validating hardware against data package requirements and addressing test failures.

You will lead improvements in test efficiency, reliability, and capacity, while performing root cause analyses and coordinating with cross-functional teams. Requires STEM degree and 2+ years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Requires degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM).
• Experience with electrical/electronic testing.
• Ability to obtain and maintain ATF access.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and provides accurate rework instructions for the product hardware.
• Creates and maintains spares and test equipment obsolescence plan.
• Creates BOEs to estimate costs for capacity, new capabilities, and obsolescence.
• Leads projects to reduce test time and improve test processes.
• Develops test flows and contributes to capacity analysis.
• Maintains changes to test equipment data packages (drawings, instructions, manuals, software).
• Assists in non-routine fault isolation, diagnosis and repair of product or test equipment.
• Leads root cause investigations and presents findings with fault trees and knowledge points.
• Performs risk assessments and supports program risk reviews.
• Leads projects and oversees execution.
• Multitasks in a fast-paced environment.
