Job summary

Kirby-Smith Machinery, Inc. seeks a Product Support Sales Representative to proactively support parts and service across its product lines. You will be the primary contact for customers in the assigned territory and play a key role in the company’s success.

Responsibilities include advising on component repair and replacements, managing PM opportunities, coordinating with Parts & Service to quote and secure orders, and delivering after-sale product support with on-site attendance.

Qualifications

• High School Education or Equivalent
• 3 years of heavy equipment industry experience
• Proficient with Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and various web-based applications
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Communicates and supports the Kirby Smith vision and core values
• Builds lasting relationships with the assigned customer base
• Assists customers with component repair, rebuild, or replacement decisions
• Manages key items for repair or replacement including Undercarriage and Tires, GET, and Filters/Fluids
• Expands Preventative Maintenance business by selling PM services
• Coordinates with Parts & Service to obtain POs, quotes, resolve disputes, and maintain customer relations
• Supports Sales in demos and startups and collaborates on territory calls
• Delivers after-sale product support and warranty documentation
• Communicates leads for machine sale and product support opportunities
• Performs other duties and maintains consistent on-site attendance
