Kirby-Smith Machinery, Inc. in Dallas, TX is seeking a Product Service Manager to supervise a team of mechanics; oversee repair and maintenance work, open work orders, and manage WIP to keep downtime low. You will quote repairs, determine warrantable items, and communicate progress to customers.

The role emphasizes safety compliance, performance appraisals, and close coordination with the Service Manager. A strong foundation in supervisory leadership and office software is required.

Qualificações

• 5+ years technician experience with supervisory experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and web-based applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage a high volume of department paperwork.
• Experience or training in management concepts or willingness to obtain such training.

Responsabilidades

• Communicates and supports Kirby Smith vision: One Mission, One Team, One Plan, One Goal.
• Accepts requests from internal and external customers for repairs.
• Researches scope of repair and prepares quotes for customers.
• Opens work orders, assigns technicians, and processes WIP.
• Determines which repairs are warrantable and which are billed to the customer.
• Monitors progress of repairs and communicates status to customers.
• Monitors work in process to meet labor goals (max 60 hours per tech).
• Tracks factory campaigns and ensures deadlines are met.
• Monitors and tracks parts returns.
• Completes all department paperwork promptly.
• Oversees safety practices and supports safety training compliance.
• Manages employee performance appraisals in a timely manner.
• Maintains open communications with the Service Manager on issues.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
• Ensures consistent, reliable on-site attendance.
