Job summary

You will open work orders, assign technicians, review quotes, monitor progress, and enforce safety standards while communicating with customers and the Service Manager. Five years in a technician role with supervisory experience is preferred, along with strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• High School Education or Equivalent required.
• Five (5) years combined experience as a technician in a related field and supervisory experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and various web-based applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage a high volume of department paperwork.
• Experience or training in management concepts and practices or willingness to obtain such training.

Responsibilities

• Communicates Kirby Smith vision and core values to the team.
• Accepts repair requests from customers and internal stakeholders.
• Researches repair scope and prepares customer quotes.
• Opens work orders and assigns technicians to repairs; processes WIP.
• Determines warranty vs. billable repairs.
• Monitors progress and communicates with customers on status.
• Maintains on-site attendance and safety practices.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
