Job summary

Trane Technologies is looking for a Product Support Engineer in the Columbia, SC area to support Airside products. You will work with account managers and the Airside Growth Team, becoming a subject matter expert on Airside equipment and collaborating with customers on specifications, pricing, and design options.

The role requires a strong engineering background, 1–2 years of industrial experience, and travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field required.
• 1–2 years of experience in industrial or manufacturing sector preferred.
• HVAC knowledge or familiarity with HVAC products beneficial.
• Strong leadership, communication and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Actively engage with Trane account managers and Airside Product Growth Team.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on Airside products and processes.
• Collaborate with internal/external customers on technical understanding, pricing and design options.
• Support testing and improvement of equipment selection processes and product launches.
