Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years in HVAC project management or estimating.
• Familiarity with HVAC systems and temperature controls.

Responsibilities

• Optimize/validate equipment selections (size, configuration, voltage, options) by reviewing plans, specs, and estimates.
• Evaluate possible cost savings or cost problems across projects.
• Validate project scope by reviewing documents; plan EQ/VPP dollars; verify quantities and configurations.
• Support sales with preliminary/final submittals and participate in job cost meetings.
• Negotiate prices with vendors to optimize expenses and maintain competitive advantage.
• Prepare equipment for order entry, verify pricing, and reconcile job costs.
• Provide post-order technical support for installation, startup, warranty, and controls.
