Job summary

Trane Technologies in South Carolina is seeking an Engineering Technician - Electrical to support the electrical side of HVAC manufacturing. You will install, test, troubleshoot wiring and devices, and help implement new electrical projects on the shop floor.

The role emphasizes coordination with Engineering and Manufacturing, leading training for hourly operations, and driving quality improvements while operating under supervision in a small team.

Qualifications

• Technical Associate's degree or equivalent with 2+ years in troubleshooting electrical circuits.
• Minimum 2 years manufacturing experience; 5+ years preferred.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Electrical device and wiring installation, testing, troubleshooting, and product quality.
• Support manufacturing operations by performing routine troubleshooting on controls / devices / wiring.
• Identify quality problems or improvement opportunities in the electrical assembly cells.
• Implement solutions related to quality, safety, and productivity in electrical processes.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering to implement new projects.
• Lead training of hourly operations employees in standard wiring and testing.
• Contribute as an individual in a small team under moderate supervision.
