Job summary

Sunbird, an established leader in Data Center Infrastructure Management, is seeking a Product Support Engineer to help maintain our award-winning web-based solutions. You will work with Ruby, Java, Angular, PostgreSQL, Rocky Linux, GitHub, Jenkins, JIRA, and SCRUM in a collaborative environment.

The role involves troubleshooting field issues, collaborating with the team to script fixes, communicating clearly with stakeholders, and documenting knowledge to reduce escalations; you may lead calls

Qualifications

BS/MS degree in Computer Science or a related subject or equivalent experience.
Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to adapt, multi-task, and manage changing priorities.
Self-motivated with the ability to learn and apply new skills quickly.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot field issues to reproduce and identify the root cause where possible.
Work with the team to create scripts or procedures to correct problems in deployed systems.
Provide clear and timely communication to keep all relevant parties informed.
Document information and transfer knowledge so that fewer issues are escalated from TS to engineering.
Lead internal and customer-facing calls as needed.
