Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Product Specialist to provide deep technical knowledge of our product suite and to collaborate with sales, engineering, and marketing to ensure accurate representation and support in diverse industrial settings.

The role will maintain product knowledge, develop digital materials, optimize online listings, offer technical support, and train teams while gathering field feedback to drive product improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a science, engineering, finance, or economics discipline.
• Fluency in English; second language is a strong plus.
• Strong technical acumen with the ability to translate complex concepts into user-friendly explanations.
• Willingness to travel for client demonstrations, industry conferences, and internal meetings.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven track record of working collaboratively across multifunctional teams.

Responsibilities

• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of our product suite, including technical specifications, applications, and integration capabilities.
• Develop and maintain digital product materials for online channels.
• Collaborate with the e-commerce team to optimize product listings and improve online sales conversions.
• Provide technical support and solutions to customers, understanding their requirements and ensuring product fit.
• Deliver accurate product presentations, training sessions, and demonstrations for prospective clients and partners.
• Provide feedback from the field to R&D and engineering for product improvements and innovation.
• Stay informed about industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies in the industrial sensing realm.
• Support operations with ad-hoc requests addressing all phases of the product lifecycle.
