Job summary

Kirby-Smith Machinery, Inc. is seeking a Service Technician - Preventative Maintenance to join our field team. This role travels to customer locations to perform in-field preventative maintenance services and minor repairs, ensuring equipment stays reliable and productive.

The candidate will operate a mobile service vehicle, follow safety guidelines, and complete required documentation while delivering exceptional customer service and promoting the company’s One Mission, One Team values.

Qualifications

• One (1) year of experience in a heavy equipment environment or related field.
• Basic mechanical knowledge required.
• Must provide and maintain a basic set of hand tools.
• Ability to speak, read, and write in English.

Responsibilities

• Operate a mobile service vehicle and travel to customer locations to perform in-field preventative maintenance and minor repairs.
• Perform preventative maintenance services and follow established guidelines.
• Complete required paperwork efficiently and timely.
• Promote goodwill and maintain excellent customer relations during service calls.
• Maintain the service truck in good working condition and safe, clean, organized.
