Job summary
Kirby-Smith Machinery, Inc. in the central United States is seeking a Heavy Equipment Shop Service Technician/Mechanic to diagnose issues, perform repairs, and maintain company assets in a busy, production-focused shop environment.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Two years’ experience diagnosing and repairing construction equipment.
- Ability to read complex hydraulic and electrical schematics.
- Furnish and maintain a set of hand tools.
- Ability to work overtime, overnights, and weekends when needed.
- Valid driver's license.
Responsibilities
- Perform shop repairs and maintenance with minimal supervision.
- Diagnose and evaluate problems and perform repairs per guidelines and flat rates.
- Plan methods and sequence of repairs.
- Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow PPE policies.
- Attend factory training and maintain shop equipment in good order.
- Provide professional customer relations and teamwork.
