Job summary

Van Meter in Urbandale, IA seeks a Product Sales Representative to build and maintain customer relationships, promote products, and coordinate with Account Managers to cover accounts. You will visit customer sites and work with manufacturer reps to drive sales and training.

Qualifications

• Two year degree or equivalent experience.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Eclipse preferred.
• Electrical product knowledge is preferred.
• Knowledge of RF Guns a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain excellent customer relationships.
• Provide excellent customer service for existing customers by providing solutions, managing projects, or providing information on products and services.
• Identify new business opportunities and establish new customer relationships.
• Maintain customer cribs.
• Work closely with Account Managers to provide adequate account coverage.
• Utilize technology for ease of doing business.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems.
