Job summary

Reflect Health, a Mason, Ohio-based healthcare administration company, is seeking a Product Owner to lead data integration and reporting initiatives. You will translate client needs into actionable user stories, oversee EDI workflows (including Cigna flows), and collaborate with engineering, data, and operations teams to deliver scalable solutions.

The role requires Agile experience, strong communication, and a focus on HIPAA-compliant data handling.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role focused on technical delivery and client engagement.
• Strong understanding of EDI transactions, including 834, 837, 835 files, and related healthcare data exchange processes.
• Proven ability to design and deliver custom reporting solutions based on complex business needs.
• Familiarity with Cigna-specific data workflows and healthcare claims/eligibility processes is a plus.
• Comfortable operating in Agile environments with Jira and Confluence.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication, translating complex topics to business-friendly language.
• Strong analytical thinking, root-cause assessment, and problem solving.
• Ability to meet client contractual and Business Associate Agreement requirements for PHI access.
• Availability during 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM ET for client calls and Agile ceremonies.

Responsibilities

• Design and communicate clear user stories and product requirements that align with healthcare data standards.
• Engage with clients, vendors, and internal teams to capture and address integration and reporting needs.
• Oversee data exchange processes and monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance EDI workflows.
• Drive initiatives to improve efficiency, reliability, and scalability of reporting solutions.
• Collaborate with engineering, data, and operational teams to deliver technical solutions.
• Support Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning and backlog grooming.
• Identify opportunities to improve system performance and user experience based on feedback.
