Job summary

enGen is seeking a Product Owner to lead an Agile team focused on EHR data exchanges and integrations. You will own the backlog, translate complex interoperability needs into user stories, and bridge business stakeholders with technical delivery teams.

You will leverage knowledge of HL7, FHIR, and payer programs to shape data curation and downstream use-cases, while collaborating with Epic and Athena platforms and modern data architectures.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in healthcare data analysis, product management, or business systems analysis within Healthcare or Health Insurance.
• 3+ years of experience in Agile Scrum as a Product Owner or similar role (CSPO or equivalent preferred).
• Experience with EHR systems (Epic, Athena Health, etc.) and interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR).
• Strong knowledge of payer clinical programs (HEDIS, NCQA/Stars, Risk Adjustment, Care Management).
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, IT, IS or related field. Master’s preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the product backlog and vision for EHR CDE and Integration scrum team.
• Define requirements and write user stories for healthcare data exchanges.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and translate healthcare interoperability needs into actionable tasks.
• Work with Data Engineers/Architects on data lakehouse concepts, CI/CD, and IaC.
• Guide cross-functional teams through sprint planning and reviews.
