Base pay range

$50.00/hr - $60.00/hr

As the Technical Product Owner, you will be responsible for maximizing business value and customer satisfaction through strategic product ownership and agile execution. You will own and prioritize the team backlog, define clear and measurable user stories, and represent the voice of the customer throughout the product lifecycle. You will work cross-functionally with departments such as Finance, Marketing, Network, Business Operations, Pharmacy, Sales, IT, and Compliance to align product features with business goals and customer needs. This role also involves influencing vendor partners, leading backlog grooming and iteration planning, and contributing to pilot innovation and results analysis. Ideal candidates will blend business acumen with a strong understanding of agile practices and the ability to drive customer-centric product development in a healthcare environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or similar role in an Agile/SAFe environment
  • Strong understanding of product management, agile principles, and backlog ownership
  • Proven success in defining user stories, features, and acceptance criteria
  • Experience working in a matrixed environment with cross-functional collaboration
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities:

  • Lead development and prioritization of the product backlog, enablers, and non-functional requirements
  • Collaborate with internal departments and vendors to gather input and translate it into actionable user stories
  • Define and refine clear acceptance criteria and measurable success metrics
  • Actively participate in PI Planning, Scrum events, and product roadmap development
  • Represent the product team to stakeholders, communicate changes and strategy updates, and ensure timely delivery of value
  • Partner in innovation and pilot testing, analyzing customer insights and launching new concepts
  • Support the Scrum Master in areas such as risk and financial management, iteration planning, and scope definition

Nice to have:

  • Previous experience in the healthcare industry, preferably within pharmacy, network, or business ops
  • Familiarity with Cigna systems and operations
  • Experience managing vendors and external stakeholder relationships
