Job summary

SKIMS is hiring an Assistant Store Leader of Product to partner with the Store Leader in delivering an operationally sound store, achieving business goals, and bringing the product to life through elevated merchandising and compelling customer experiences.

You will own visual merchandising execution, lead a team on styling and product knowledge, and ensure displays are cohesive with the brand while adapting quickly to trends and campaigns.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in a retail leadership role with a strong focus on visual merchandising or customer experience.
• Proven track record of driving sales through merchandising decisions and visual floor leadership.
• Strong visual merchandising skills to create impactful and visually appealing store displays.
• Ability to stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to inform product placement.
• Strong leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to motivate and guide the team.
• Passion for the SKIMS brand and service approach in every interaction.
• Must be able to stand, move around the store, and lift up to 40 pounds.
• Full-Time availability including evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
• Does not want to be an influencer.

Responsibilities

• Own the visual merchandising strategy and execution in partnership with the Store Leader and ensure all product displays are elevated, cohesive, and aligned with the SKIMS brand and business goals.
• Lead with a Customer Obsessed mindset by supporting floor layout and product storytelling through innovation, inclusivity, personalized styling, and customer-centric service.
• Use product and store reporting to drive results through merchandising decisions, identify top performers and adjust product flow to increase sell-through.
• Ensure the floor is zoned for optimal customer experience and product stock integrity; support back-of-house with alignment on strategy.
• React quickly to trends and business needs and empower the team to re-merchandise in the moment.
• Maintain store standards of Operational Excellence: cleanliness, signage, and intentional merchandising.
• Lead product moves, floor sets, mannequins, windows, and signage.
• Lead and train team members on visual best practices, styling, product knowledge, and new campaigns.
