Overview

Verkada is looking for a Product Marketing Manager for Alarms (product line with the largest TAM) and Connectivity (our newest product category). As the Product Marketing Manager for these two product lines, you will be responsible for launching new products and ensuring their success in the market.


In addition to bringing new products to market, you will be integral in creating the collateral needed to enable our Sales, Demand Generation, and Channel Marketing teams to win. This role is highly cross-functional and will bring together stakeholders across the Product, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing organizations to drive business results.




This position will be based in-person at our HQ in San Mateo, CA.




Responsibilities

  • Bring new products to market by taking the lead on launches - planning and creating/managing deliverables in order to maximize impact.

  • Develop competitively differentiated messaging and positioning for a product based on user research, market insights, and product knowledge.

  • Partner with PM counterparts to set a go-to-market plan within each product vertical, including target markets, pricing and packaging, and channel strategy.

  • Work closely with Creative, Demand Generation, and Channel Marketing teams to increase market presence and drive pipeline through key outbound assets (video, webinars, thought leadership, email nurture, etc).

  • Partner with the Sales team to understand how your products and messaging are resonating with customers and develop sales collateral to improve win rates.

  • Become a product subject matter expert, evangelist and cross-functional leader who unites Marketing, Sales, and Product teams to drive business results.


Requirements

  • 2-5 years of product marketing (or similar) experience at a B2B technology company

  • Experience working cross-functionally with teams including Product, Engineering, Sales, Creative, and Marketing

  • Strong ability to write for various audiences, including technical content

  • Ability to help drive creative and content efforts across the marketing organization

  • Bachelor's required; degree in a quantitative field is a plus, but not required

Annual Pay Range


At Verkada, we want to attract and retain the best employees, and compensate them in a way that appropriately and fairly values their individual contribution to the company. With that in mind, we carefully consider a number of factors to determine the appropriate starting pay for an employee, including their primary work location and an assessment of a candidate's skills and experience, as well as market demands and internal parity. A Verkada employee may be eligible for additional forms of compensation, depending on their role, including sales incentives, discretionary bonuses, and/or equity in the company in the form of restricted stock units (RSUs)


Below is the annual on-target earnings (OTE) range for full-time employees for this position, comprised of base compensation and commissions (if applicable).
