Job summary

Staples is seeking a Product Manager for Retail Applications to shape technology capabilities across our U.S. retail store environment.

You will define strategy, manage roadmaps and backlogs, and partner with stakeholders to deliver solutions that improve store operations, associate workflows, and customer experiences. The role requires balancing strategic thinking with hands-on product delivery in a fast-paced retail setting, working with Finance, Merchandising, OMNI, Store Ops, and Loss

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management experience, preferably in retail or store systems.
• Experience translating business needs into product solutions within Agile teams.
• Proven ability to manage roadmaps, backlogs, and cross-functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own retail application capabilities supporting store operations and associate workflows.
• Define roadmaps aligned with priorities and platform strategy.
• Prioritize backlogs balancing business value, feasibility, and timelines.
• Lead release planning with engineering and business teams to ensure smooth rollouts.
• Translate requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Ensure data accuracy, usability, and operational reliability across integrations.
• Collaborate with Finance, Merchandising, OMNI, Store Ops, and Loss Prevention on initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to improve system performance and associate experience.
