Job summary

Synthesia is hiring a Product Manager to own the Interactive Avatar API, working closely with engineering and research teams to deliver a production-ready, real-time API. You will define what to build, in what order, and ensure the surface is developer-friendly, well-documented, and scalable.

You’ll partner with GTM and commercial teams to shape packaging and pricing while maintaining a strong quality bar for latency, expressiveness, and reliability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in product management owning a developer-facing API, SDK, or platform.
• Experience talking to developers, watching integrations, and forming a point of view.
• Ability to balance quality, latency, and cost in real-time systems.
• Strong written communication and ability to write specs or API design rationales.
• Based in Seattle or able to travel for in-person time.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end Interactive Avatar API surface (SDK, docs, integrations).
• Define roadmap for beta-to-GA and align teams around strategy.
• Understand developer needs and translate into a production-ready API.
• Collaborate with engineering/research to specify and trade off quality vs latency and cost.
• Shape packaging, pricing, and go-to-market for the API as a business.
• Define and track adoption, integration success, real-time quality, reliability, and commercial signals.
