Job summary

Synthesia in Seattle is seeking a Product Manager to own the Interactive Avatar API and guide its 0→1 evolution. You will define the developer experience, roadmap, and surface patterns that teams integrate against, working closely with engineering and research to balance latency, quality, and cost.

You’ll partner with GTM and commercial teams to shape packaging and pricing, while tracking adoption and performance metrics across beta to general availability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in product with direct experience owning a developer-facing API, SDK, or platform product.
• Comfortable in an early-stage 0→1 environment where discovery and delivery occur in parallel.
• Strong technical fluency in real-time systems, latency, and integration trade-offs.
• Strong written communication to produce specs, strategy docs, or API design rationale.
• Based in Seattle or able to align with regular in-person time.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end Interactive Avatar API surface (SDK, integration patterns, docs) and roadmap.
• Engage with developers to understand integration pain points and production readiness.
• Translate insights into clear product direction and prioritized delivery.
• Collaborate with engineering and research on the real-time avatar stack and specs.
• Partner with GTM and commercial teams to define packaging, pricing, and go-to-market.
• Define and track adoption, integration success, real-time quality, reliability, and business signals.
