Job summary

Synthesia is seeking a Product Manager to own the Interactive Avatar API, guiding engineering, research and GTM teams from beta to general availability. You’ll translate developer feedback into a clear roadmap, balance latency, quality and cost, and define the developer experience that makes the API easy to adopt.

Based in Seattle or able to travel for regular in-person collaboration, this hybrid role also supports remote work from Europe.

Qualifications

5+ years in product owning a developer-facing API/SDK/platform.
Comfortable in an early-stage, 0→1 environment where discovery and delivery happen in parallel.
Strong technical fluency: real-time systems, latency, integration trade-offs.
Strong written communication: specs, strategy docs, API design rationale.
Real-time / streaming media or applied-AI product experience is a plus.
Instinct for the commercial side of a developer product: adoption, packaging, monetization.

Responsibilities

Own the end-to-end Interactive Avatar API, the developer-facing surface, real-time experience quality, and roadmap to GA.
Engage closely with developers building on the beta to understand integration pain points and what production-ready means.
Translate insights into a clear product direction and prioritize what to build, when, and why.
Collaborate with engineering and research on the avatar stack, provide clear specs and trade-off judgments.
Partner with GTM and commercial teams to define packaging, pricing, and sales for the API.
Define and track metrics for adoption, integration success, real-time quality, reliability, and commercial signals.
