Job summary

Verra Mobility Corporation is seeking a Product Manager to own a backoffice data processing portfolio, driving strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle management. You will partner with engineering, operations, IT, and sales to deliver measurable business outcomes and leverage AI to accelerate discovery and delivery.

You will report to the Director of Product and join a squad focused on actionable insights, with a bias toward outcomes and customer value.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of product management experience, with a track record of owning outcomes.
• Experience leading customer discovery and translating qualitative and quantitative insights into product decisions.
• Ability to operate effectively in a cross-functional squad environment alongside engineering and design peers.
• Experience in regulated or complex-domain industries, such as automotive, fleet, payments, fintech, or similar, with a demonstrated record of learning new domains.
• Comfort working in and contributing to organizations evolving their product operating model.
• Active use of AI tools to enhance productivity in day-to-day product work, such as discovery workflows, streamlining documentation, automating research, creating prototypes, and accelerating delivery.
• Excellent written and verbal communication: you write clearly, tailor your message to different audiences, and tell a coherent product story.
• Strong critical thinking and a bias toward evidence over opinion.

Responsibilities

• Lead continuous customer discovery, including interviews, ride-alongs, and data analysis, to validate problems and pressure-test solutions before committing to build.
• Frame customer and business problems with clarity and evidence, ensuring the team works on what truly matters.
• Define and maintain a prioritized roadmap grounded in measurable outcomes.
• Balance user needs, business objectives, and technical feasibility, using sound judgment and solid product sense.
• Partner early with Legal, Compliance, and Operations functions to shape viable solutions.
• Own the problem end-to-end, make tough prioritization calls, document your reasoning and outcomes.
