Job summary

Verra Mobility seeks a strategic and hands-on VP of Product & Platform Engineering to lead the strategy, architecture, and delivery of the company’s technology platforms. The role owns end-to-end architecture across infrastructure, platforms, applications, and DevOps, enabling product squads to build and scale customer solutions with speed and autonomy.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in software engineering and platform/infrastructure leadership.
• Proven track record building and scaling cloud-native platforms and modern product operating models.
• Deep expertise in cloud platforms, microservices, IaC, CI/CD, DevOps/SRE, container orchestration, observability, and API/service architectures.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead the long-term platform engineering strategy in line with the product roadmap.
• Own enterprise‑level architecture for platforms, APIs, and data.
• Enable product squads with shared platforms, tooling, and reusable components.
• Lead DevOps strategy, CI/CD pipelines, and reliability engineering practices.
