Job summary
Sourcebooks is seeking a Product Manager, Awareness Platform to join our Digital team and own mobile and web experiences from discovery through delivery and optimization. This role blends hands-on ownership, customer advocacy, roadmap leadership, UX improvement, analytics, QA, and cross-functional collaboration.
The location can be hybrid or remote in New York or Naperville, Illinois or remote based in the listed states.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in product management with mobile/web ownership.
- Experience defining, prioritizing, testing, and releasing product improvements.
- Strong customer and UX orientation with analytical judgment.
Responsibilities
- Own the user experience, platform roadmap, backlog, and priorities across web and mobile.
- Translate customer feedback and analytics into improvements.
- Write clear requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria with Dev teams.
- Improve onboarding, navigation, content discovery, subscriptions, engagement, and UX/UI.
- Own product QA, release readiness, push and messaging functionality, and post-launch optimization.
- Manage external development partners, vendors, SOWs/RFPs, and growth initiatives.
- Bring reader motivations to product decisions to keep readers engaged.
