Job summary
Sourcebooks seeks a Product Manager, Awareness Platform to own our mobile and web experiences from discovery through delivery and ongoing optimization. This role combines hands-on ownership, customer advocacy, roadmap leadership, UX improvement, analytics, QA, and cross-functional collaboration with development teams.
The position supports hybrid or remote work in New York or Naperville, IL, or remote within eligible US states.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in product management or digital product management.
- Experience working with software-development teams to define, prioritize, test, and release product improvements.
- Familiarity with App Store Connect or Google Play Console, push/in-app messaging, Jira or Asana, and product/subscription analytics.
Responsibilities
- Own the user experience, platform roadmap, backlog, and priorities across web and mobile.
- Translate customer feedback, behavioral data, and analytics into product improvements.
- Partner with development from discovery through release; improve onboarding, navigation, subscriptions, engagement, and UX/UI.
- Manage external development partners, vendors, SOWs/RFPs, and growth initiatives.
- Drive reader-oriented features to help customers discover content and connect with authors.
