Qualifications

• 3+ years as a Product Manager of a cross-functional team
• 5+ years of accounting experience
• Understand financial measurement tools and accounting principles
• Experience budgeting, financial reporting, and government regulations compliance
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Experience shipping consumer web applications
• Ability to build buy-in across teams and partners
• Excellent written and verbal communication for trade-offs

Responsibilities

• Provide expert accounting knowledge and insights
• Proficiency with accounting software and system integrations
• Lead stakeholders through complex public policy implementations
• Explain complex financial concepts to non-financial audiences
• Develop and review program documentation, training content, and manuals
• Collaborate with legal, policy, business, and operations teams
• Identify process improvement opportunities and drive efficiency
• Research accounting standards and regulatory changes
• Review content for accuracy and completeness
• Lead integration of accounting software solutions
• Troubleshoot software implementation and integrations
• Coordinate with IT for audit logging and system monitoring
• Provide training and support on new software tools
• Define product vision, goals, and success measures
• Work with design, business analysis, and tech leads on requirements
• Define scope and priorities of projects and features
• Build buy-in for product initiatives with partners and teams
• Prioritize roadmaps with project management
