Job summary

Nava is seeking a Product Manager (Accounting SME and Tech Solutions Advisor) to validate product strategies and align with contract requirements, bridging state government accounting with technology solutions. You will work with stakeholders, design, and engineering to plan and scope work.

You’ll lead with accounting expertise, manage integrations, and guide teams across legal, policy, business, and operations to ensure accurate, efficient processes.

Qualifications

• Three+ years of experience as a Product Manager leading a cross-functional team.
• Five+ years of accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of financial measurement tools and accounting principles.
• Experience with budgeting, financial reporting, and compliance with state government regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert accounting knowledge and insights.
• Lead integration of accounting software solutions to improve processes.
• Collaborate with legal, policy, business, and operations teams to ensure accurate accounting processes.
• Define the vision, goals, and success measures for the products you manage.
• Socialize and build buy-in for product initiatives with partners and contractors.
• Ensure audit logging, system integrations, and monitoring are robust.
