Job summary

AeroVironment is seeking a Director of Finance to provide financial leadership to Product Line General Managers and act as a trusted advisor. This role is responsible for budgets, forecasts, and driving cash flow while collaborating with senior leadership.

You will oversee financial reporting, implement financial strategy, and lead a team of senior finance managers. This high-impact role requires strong accounting, compliance, and advisory skills in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or Accounting is required.
• MBA / CMA or advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct financial assurance and control, including reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
• Lead day-to-day finance leadership to Product Line Managers.
• Lead pricing and proposal activities and monitor margin performance.
• Develop and implement financial strategy at the Product Line level.
• Identify opportunities to enhance Finance capability and lead improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance and controls across financial areas.
• Provide complex financial analyses for monthly, quarterly and annual submissions.
