AeroVironment, Inc. seeks a Finance Manager to deliver strategic and operational financial plans for product lines, partnering with Product Management, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Sales and Finance leadership to evaluate profitability and budgets.

The role emphasizes understanding hardware products, manufacturing economics, inventory, and cross-functional operations, providing financial guidance aligned with organizational goals and company policy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration or equivalent.
• 10+ years in relevant disciplines with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Experience with costing and pricing of complex manufactured products and development contracts.
• Experience with Government Cost accounting principles and FAR.
• Knowledge of ASC-606 Revenue from Contracts with Customers.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Hyperion, Oracle EBS, ProPricer and MS Project.

Responsabilités

• Provide monthly forecasting and variance reporting for hardware product lines.
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures and government procurement regulations.
• Support audits and challenge estimates at complete (EAC) for profitability and growth.
• Oversee program cost control, cost/schedule aspects of contracts.
• Lead budgets and schedules, including funding profiles and variance analysis.
• Support indirect department budgeting and detailed variance analysis.
• Assist in proposal activity for new captures with home office costing teams.
• Develop integrated master schedules for on-contract and R&D efforts.
• Collaborate with Cost Accounting to understand BOMs and cost drivers.
• Translate cost variances and supply chain changes into financial impact for business plans.
