United Rentals, Inc. is seeking a Product Development Manager within the Advanced Solutions Group to drive innovation and mature the offering portfolio by piloting and deploying new solutions across the organization.

You will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to build business cases, test prototypes, and support go-to-market initiatives, reinforcing United Rentals' position as a differentiated industry partner.

Qualifikationen

• Experience leading complex product development projects within customer environments.
• Proven ability to develop strategic proposals and rollout plans.
• Strong familiarity with construction technologies, IoT, AI, and sensor-based systems.
• Background in telematics, RFID, GPS, and related tech.
• Travel up to 50% as required.

Aufgaben

• Lead product development lifecycle from concept through pilot to scalable offerings.
• Collaborate with ASG team members and field leadership to pilot and enhance solutions.
• Coordinate readiness for deployment and maximize adoption across regions.
• Partner with Sourcing and IT to ensure solution viability.
• Prototype and evaluate new technologies to guide product refinement.
• Pilot new technologies with teams and select customers to validate effectiveness.
• Support GTM strategy and rollout plans with Customer Success.
• Act as SME and single point of contact for evolving portfolio.
• Prepare strategic proposals including financial assessments and market evaluations.
• Strengthen relationships with sales teams to deliver value.
